Love-ly fluffy clouds !!!

Good day everyone:)
When I woke up today, I went and made myself a nice iced coffee ... and headed to the verandah to check on my flowers (which by the way I have so much neglected these past few months!! I can't believe that they're still alive...).  But anyway, this is not the point of all this rumbling!!! I checked on the sky and it was filled with little fluffy clouds.... and then it hit me!! I immediately headed to the sewing/dining room and started drawing clouds on paper.. and after cutting, quilting, sewing... ta da.... Fluffy cloud pillows :)

The little one is from my own drawing and the big one is Mr. H's drawing!!  I know that they didn't turn out exactly how I imagined them in my head... {sewing curves is tricky!!!} but I still think that Love (my niece) will truly enjoy them after all!!! {and hopefully her mom won't think I wasted the fabric she had given me which I used  for the back of the pillows). I still though find so lovely the free motion cloud design on the front side of the small cloud... don't you?? I just can't wait to go over there and give her mom, Love's fluffy clouds!! {I think I'm making up excuses to visit and be with my sweet baby niece!!!}

Now, next week {which is the last week of my vacations!!! :( } will involve a lot of sewing and a huge change in our house!!!.  I HAVE to organize my sewing room!! That means, that I have to take out everything that involves sewing/crafting from the dinning room, and place it in our office room. Which means... turning this..

 and this...

 and this..

to something like this...

Got any ideas to share?? How do you organize your sewing space? Don't you feel overwhelmed by the fabric stash you have?? I refuse to live like this anymore!! I can't find anything in my own house!!!!! oooo!! I cannot panic at least not yet!!!!! They say it's gonna be a very hot weekend, almost 40 degrees Celsius ... so I might be needing these again ;)

I'm wishing everyone a lovely relaxing weekend:)

p.s. Have you entered my giveaway?? Hurry up!!!

  2. Cloud pillows - what a cute idea!!! I love the bunting on them :)
    organizing your craft stuff is so satisfying - You'll be amazed at how much of it you will use once you know it's there (until, of course, your mom's friend gives you yards and yards of fabric to refill the stash because it's filling up HER house but it's too cute to get rid of). :)

  14. Very sweet little pillows! I would copy you but where I live I'd have to make the clouds grey, which wouldn't look as nice.
