Work in progress:)

Well finally blogger is up again:) I missed you guys!!! What have you been up to these days??

I've been busy all week, trying to make three pillows for a friend.  She had seen the tea time pillow and also the road pillow I had made for my couch, and she loved them.  She asked for specific colors, purple, blue, green, pink... great colors I thought, but how would I combine all these...

Till now I've made two pillows, wanna see??

For the first one I'm really proud cause it came along so nice.. with no mistake... it fitted properly!!!  A very well done job:)

Now the second one, was a pure disaster!!!! It took me 1 1/2 days to finish it!!! Many mistakes on taking right measurements and cutting the fabric correctly, and a lot of practice for the handwriting... but it came out so cute after all:) This pillow is supposed to be a set with the tea pot, and I wanted to add a tea bag instead of a ribbon for a cute detail. I found these super tutorial from chick chick sewing on how to make a pyramid sachet. I added some text and now I think I will make myself some earl grey tea:)

I just love how these pillows look together!! What do you think?? Won't she like them??

I'm now working on the road pillow, I just cut and sew the road on the background fabric, I've traced all the lovely details on the fusible web paper, and I just have to make my mind up on which fabric to use:) Decisions, decisions, decisions:)!!!

Well, I'm off now,I have to continue with my sewing!!! Those pillows must be delivered by Sunday morning:)

I'm so happy to see you again!!!!:)

Wishing you all a happy weekend:-)
